Good morning, awesome build of your 36 to 48 volt golf cart conversion!!! May I ask what your max speed was after the conversion? Regards Tony
Thanks Tony. I actually never measured it, but I would estimate it increased the top speed by about 1/3. Top speed will depend on several factors beyond supply voltage, like the motor, tire size, etc. My motor is a torque-oriented stock motor and on the flats probably I was at around 13mph before and 18ish after. Top-end stock motors probably more in the 23ish range.
